Friday March 18th 2011 - Today's show starts with the Smash the State Report, before reviewing warnings from the Anishinabe Kweag and several Mohawk communities against the planned shipments of decommissioned nuclear steam generators through the Great Lakes. We also look into resistance to the Keystone XL oil pipeline and other tar sands related news, and talk about resistance to canadian mining companies.

Vandana Shiva is blocked from entering canada as 2000 Indian women are arrested on IWD. We introduce Gary McHlae's assault on Six Nations solidarity activist Tom Keefer at McHale's "truth and reconciliation rally" and introduce Luke Stewart's review of Christie Bltachford's "Helpless" and recent anti-native events in Caledonia.

We also read a review of David Harvey's latest book, warn folks about white supremacist organizing in london and talk about No One is Illegal's recent action against Jason Kenney in Vancouver.

We end with a review of International Day Against Police Brutality, including Toronto and Montreal events, and mark a bunch of upcoming events including the Speak Up Speak Out conference at WLU faculty of social work on March 19th.
